Well, I'm going to defend Marcel here. In my book he had every right not to want to rehash the past. I simply don't understand the comment by Ellen that he was "actively stirring the pot". He in no way encouraged a revisit of past incidents. Could his responses to Fabio's line of questioning been more "diplomatic"? Sure. But please note that he did bite the bullet when Fabio crassly asked him whether he believed himself to be a "victim" in the hair-shaving incident that got Cliff kicked off the show. (Marcel was so obviously a victim that to suggest that there might be other ways of interpreting what happened strikes me as insensitive and crude.)

It seems to me that they invited the finalists from the five prior seasons - final 2 from seasons 1 and 2, and the final 3 from seasons 3, 4, and 5. Stephanie was the only person missing.

I thought the reunion show was more watchable than I expected it to be. Fabio did a good job of keeping things rolling. I wondered about the selection of chefs - if everyone was invited, or was there a prioritized list that they worked off of. It seemed to me that Casey was defensive about what went down in the last challenge with Carla. Marcel was actively stirring the pot, while denying that was what he wanted to do. Stefan was goofing around a lot. Tiffany seemed to be persistently 'owning' her behavior in Season One. Harold was the great laid back commentator. Dale was his usual lovely self. Elan kept his temper. Hung was relaxed. Lisa seemed on good behavior. Am I leaving anyone out? Anyway, good show. Well edited to flashbacks from past seasons.
